Generate and view study materials

Our app can turn a chat into several kinds of study materials. Open the chat where you've been discussing a topic and send at least one message first. The right-hand sidebar has sections for study guides, reference sheets, summaries, flashcards, practice questions, infographics, webpages, mind maps, slideshows, and additional resources.
Generate something new
1. Find the type of material you want in the chat sidebar.
2. Choose Generate to create it from your conversation. For additional resources, choose Find. You can keep chatting while it runs, and the finished material will appear in that sidebar section.
3. Choose the section's view button to open the material.
Different formats serve different purposes. A study guide gives you a fuller explanation, a reference sheet gathers key facts, flashcards support recall practice, and practice questions let you check your understanding. Mind maps and infographics give you a visual overview, while additional resources help you find material to explore further.
Regenerate or return to your chat
If a material already exists, use its regenerate control to make a new version. We'll ask you to confirm first because the new version replaces the old one. If the result isn't quite what you need, you can add more context or clarify your request in the chat, then regenerate it.
Choose Back to Chat on a material page to return to the conversation it came from. Materials are tied to their chat, so check that you're in the right conversation if you can't find one.
If generation fails more than once, contact our support team and tell us which chat and material type were involved, plus any error message you saw. Please don't include your password.
